New Outdoor Event Space Announced for Broadbeach

Some more great news for Broadbeach with the announcement of an exciting new outdoor events space!

Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate, announced that the permanent space will be located on the beachfront area just north of Kurrawa Surf Club and will provide a new premium venue to service visitors and the community. The use will be for outdoor dining, community and public events, live entertainment and for some of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games events.

The area will be able to hold heavy temporary structures and will be fully equipped with lighting, power and amenities. The 20m x 20m deck will be able to hold 500 people making it a perfect venue for off-site events for conferences, corporate events as well as public events.

The project is one of the deliverables of the Gold Coast City’s Destination Tourism Management Plan and will add another quality venue and experience to the Gold Coast, and Broadbeach’s, product choice.
