The annual Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, better known to most as the “Aussies”, brings together members from Australia’s 311 Surf Clubs competing in over 400 beach and ocean events. In 2019 the events will be hosted by the Gold Coast’s Broadbeach and North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Clubs.

Surf lifesavers will toe the line in events including swimming, board and ski paddling, sprinting, surf boat rowing and the feature Ironman and Ironwoman events. So don’t miss the opportunity to spectate as Australia’s best surf athletes go head to head on the Gold Coast’s world renowned coastline.

The event is a must-visit with entertainment running through the entire week.
